Le présent document définit pour chaque type de bouchons de liège pour vins tranquilles (bouchons de liège naturel colmaté ou non, bouchons agglomérés, bouchons 1+1) un ensemble de spécifications correspondant à différents paramètres. Pour les bouchons de liège pour vins tranquilles et pour certains paramètres est introduite la notion de gamme avec trois niveaux décroissants d'exigences. Les bouchons doivent être testés conformément à la NF B 57-100.
