Ces sujets sont illustrés par des applications à un branchement. Les principaux composants des appareils de voie sont représentés dans des branchements. Les principes appliqués dans les branchements sont également applicables dans les assemblages plus complexes. Le présent document donne les moyens de se conformer à la Directive 2008/57/CE relative à l'intéropérabilité du système ferroviaire au sein de la Communauté (voir Annexe ZA).
