Le présent document décrit une méthode de détection des produits alimentaires contenant de l'ADN ayant subi un traitement ionisant. La méthode, basée sur l'électrophorèse par micro-gel de cellules simples ou de noyaux, permettant de mettre en évidence la fragmentation de l'ADN n'étant pas spécifique, les résultats positifs peuvent être confirmés par d'autres méthodes spécifiques (par exemple NF EN 1784, NF EN 1785, NF EN 1786, NF EN 1787, NF EN 1788, NF EN 13708 et NF EN 13751 en préparation).
