Additionally those premises can include office spaces (for which generic cabling is specified in ISO/IEC 11801-2) or data centre spaces (for which generic cabling is specified in ISO/IEC 11801-5).
In the field of customer premises cabling this International Standard specifies a wide range of communications services including automation, process control and monitoring applications for use in industrial premises. This International Standard complements the requirements of ISO/IEC 11801.
