Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des écrous hexagonaux, à freinage interne, avec chambrage et rondelle captive, à filetage ISO M ou ISO MJ, en acier, cadmiés, lubrifiés MOS2 pour constructions aéronautiques. La norme européenne EN 2882 spécifie un écrou similaire à filetage ISO MJ. Le présent document recommande, chaque fois que l'interchangeabilité peut être conservée, l'utilisation préférentielle des écrous correspondants définis par EN 2882.
