Specification for the accuracy of machine tools and methods of test - Milling machines, bed type, horizontal or vertical spindle

Specifies accuracy requirements and geometrical tests with reference to BS 3800. Relates to machines in general use and of normal precision. Does not apply to testing of the running of the machine (vibrations, abnormal noises, stick-slip motion of components, etc.) or to machine characteristics such as feeds, speeds etc. Appendix C gives terminology that is technically equivalent to ISO 1984/0.
