La présente partie du Rapport Technique CEN définit une méthode permettant la détection des Salmonella, et ce au moyen d'une mode opératoire par présence/ absence en quatre étapes, mené sur un échantillon atteignant 50 g (masse humide). La méthode a une limite de détection d'environ 10 ufc/50 g de masse de boue humide.
