Le présent document liste les types de fermetures et les moyens d'ouverture les plus généralement utilisés sur les emballages en carton ondulé. Il s'applique à deux grandes familles d'emballages : les caisses dites " américaines " : à encaissage normal par le dessus ; à encaissage latéral (dans ce cas l'ouverture est identique à celle des emballages du type enveloppement automatique) ; les emballages du type enveloppement automatique (wrap-around) .
