This edition constitutes a technical revision.This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:addition of requirements and test for non-solid pins;additional rating IPX9;additional marking to indicate neutral terminal and/or earthing terminal.This document is to be read in conjunction with IEC 60309-1:2021.The content of the corrigendum 1 (2026-08) has been included in this copy.
