IEC 61000-3-2:1995/COR1:1995
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 3: Limits - Section 2: Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current <= 16 per phase)
Defines general terms and terms concerning impedances, harmonics, voltage changes and flicker.
Applicable to electrical and electronic equipment for household and similar use, intended to be connected to low-voltage a.c. distribution systems. Gives general requirements and maximum permissible values of harmonics components of the input current which may be produced by a piece of equipment tested individually under specified conditions, practical methods of type tests and guidance on the practical application of the requirements. The second impression (1991) includes Amendments 1, 2 and 3.
Specifies limits for harmonic current emissions applicable to electrical and electronic equipment having an input current up to and including 16 A per phase, and intended to be connected to public low-voltage distribution systems. The tests according to this standard are type tests. Test conditions for particular equipment are given in annex C. For systems with nominal voltages less than 220 V (line to neutral), the limits have not yet been considered.
