Amendment 1 to standard ISO 16140-2:2016

The validation protocol described in this annex covers the microbiological test, meaning that the alternative method is validated against the microbiological test described in the reference method. Some reference methods include a combination of techniques such as organoleptic test or pH measurement, those additional tests are not covered by this annex and therefore shall not be considered.
