Le présent document définit une méthode de caractérisation sans fusion de ferrailles légères issues de la récupération des produits en fin de vie ou issues de produits neufs. Cette méthode permet la détermination de la teneur en produit magnétique propre et sec des ferrailles légères en vrac ou en paquets. La méthode BSL consiste en trois opérations successives de broyage, séparation magnétique et lavage du produit magnétique en vue d'obtenir un sous-échantillon de produit magnétique propre et sec.
