Le présent document spécifie une méthode spectrophotométrique de détermination du fer dans le titane et les alliages de titane. La méthode est applicable aux produits ayant des teneurs fer comprises entre 0,05 pour cent et 0,50 pour cent mais peut être étendue à des teneurs allant jusqu'à 3 pour cent , en utilisant une dilution appropriée ou en réduisant la prise d'essai.
