Chemical analysis of copper and copper alloys. Determination of nickel content. Molecular absorption spectrophotometric method.

Cette norme a pour objet la description d'une méthode de dosage du nickel par spectrophotométrie d'absorption moléculaire du complexe nickel-diméthylglyoxime dans le cuivre et ses alliages, applicable aux teneurs comprises entre 0,04 % et 7 %. Elle est doublée d'une méthode basée sur la mesure par spectrométrie d'absorption atomique figurant dans la norme NF A 08-710, applicable aux teneurs en nickel comprises entre 0,001 % et 6 %. Pour les fortes teneurs comprises entre 2 % et 50 %, se reporter à la norme NF A 06-750.
