Le présent document décrit une méthode d'évaluation de l'effet des cycles de gel/dégel sur les pierres naturelles (voir NF EN 12670, pour la terminologie, et NF EN 12440, pour la dénomination). Il contient des dispositions pour un essai technologique plus court (Essai A) permettant d'évaluer l'effet des cycles de gel/dégel sur les caractéristiques de performances pertinentes, d'une part, et d'autre part, un essai d'identification (Essai B).
