Cette norme concerne les conducteurs à âme en aluminium, isolés au polychlorure de vinyle, destinés à être utilisés dans les installations fixes. Les conducteurs visés dans la présente norme sont ceux des séries FN07V-AU pour les conducteurs à âme rigide, FN07V-AR pour les conducteurs à âme câblée. Leurs caractéristiques sont celles des conducteurs harmonisés de constitution analogue avec âme en cuivre. Pour les définir, il est fait référence à la norme NF C 32-201 - janvier 1984, copie du document d'harmonisation HD 21 S2.
