Le présent document est un amendement à la norme NF P 21-203-1 (Référence DTU 31.1) qui donne les prescriptions techniques à observer pour le calcul, la construction, l'entretien ou la réparation des ouvrages à structure bois, ou mixte bois-métal des bâtiments et de leurs annexes, en France métropolitaine. Il concerne les travaux de charpente, de pans de bois, ainsi quelles escaliers. Il modifie la norme NF P21-203-1 (Références DTU 31.1) en supprimant toute référence à l'amiante.
