La présente norme fixe le profil, les dimensions et tolérances d'exécution du filetage trapézoïdal asymétrique à hauteur de recouvrement égale à 0,4 fois le pas. Ce filetage est destiné à supporter des poussées orientées axialement dans un seul sens vers le flanc chargé incliné à 3°. L'inclinaison du flanc dégagé est de 45° ; ces angles sont mesurés par rapport à la normale à l'axe du filetage.
