Dans la série de normes relatives aux instruments de mesurage dimensionnel, le présent document s'applique aux pieds à coulisse, pour lesquels il décrit les caractéristiques à vérifier lors de la réception et de la vérification périodique. Il propose les limites maximales tolérées pour ces pieds à coulisse. Il vient en complément de la NF EN ISO 13385-1 qui fixe les caractéristiques de conception et définit les caractéristiques métrologiques des pieds à coulisse. La situation du présent document dans la matrice GPS est donnée en Annexe B.
