Les rondelles coniques striées sont prévues pour une utilisation en statique dans un assemblage vissé (vis de classe de qualité 6.8 ou 8.8, et écrous correspondants) . Les rondelles ressorts dites " Belleville ", destinées à une utilisation en dynamique, font l'objet du document NF E 25-104.
