La présente norme définit les caractéristiques des supports destinés à être fixés par soudage sur les appareils chaudronnés horizontaux de tous types, à l'exception des cas où - le soudage du support sur la virole ou la fourrure n'est pas réalisable (incompatibilité de soudage du matériau du support avec celui de la virole) ; - la génératrice inférieure de l'appareil est à plus de 500 mm du plan de pose.
