Le présent document définit les exigences et les méthodes d'essais relatives à la construction, la sécurité, le rendement et le marquage de générateurs d'air chaud. Il a été élaboré dans le cadre de la révision quinquennale de l'édition parue en 1998. Il intègre l'amendement publié ultérieurement et a été complété pour inclure les nouveaux pays membres du CEN, les modifications apportées par la NF EN 437:2003, et couvrir les exigences de la directive produits de la construction dans le cadre du mandat M105 relatif aux POCED.
