La présente norme décrit une méthode de dosage du bore par spectrophotométrie dans les aciers, pour des teneurs en bore comprises entre 0,000 4 % et 0,012 0 % (m/m). Cette méthode est basée sur la formation d'un complexe par traitement aux acides et mesure de l'absorbance de la solution à une longueur d'onde de 543 nm.
