Le présent document décrit les exigences pour les flans raboutés laser élaborés à partir d'aciers alliés et non alliés de nuances identiques ou différentes avec ou sans revêtements métalliques et/ou organiques d'épaisseurs identiques ou différentes. Ces exigences s'appliquent uniquement aux flans raboutés. Après le processus de soudage, les flans raboutés sont ensuite transformés en pièces embouties au moyen d'opérations de formage qui sont de la responsabilité du transformateur. Durant la conception de la pièce, il faut tenir compte du fait que le cordon de soudure a une formabilité moindre en comparaison de celle du métal de base.
