La présente norme fait partie d'un ensemble visant à mettre entre les mains des différents intervenants (maître d'ouvrage, installateurs, constructeurs, contrôleur technique) un ensemble de règlestechniques concernant la conception, la réalisation, la réception et l'exploitation d'une installation de sprinkleurs. Cette norme fixe les principales caractéristiques des organes constitutifs d'une installation de sprinkleurs ainsi que les essais aptes à les vérifier. L'installation fait l'objet de la norme NF S 62-210.
