Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination de la consistance du béton frais par l'essai Vébé. L'essai est adapté aux échantillons ayant une valeur déclarée de D pour les plus gros granulats effectivement utilisés dans le béton (Dmax) inférieure ou égale à 63 mm. Si le résultat à l'essai Vébé (temps Vébé) est inférieur à 5 s ou supérieur à 30 s, le béton présente une consistance qui ne peut être déterminée au moyen de l'essai Vébé.
