Le présent document spécifie une méthode de simulation de l'usure et de la corrosion accélérées à utiliser avant la détermination de la teneur en nickel libéré par les articles revêtus qui entrent en contact direct et prolongé avec la peau. Conformément au Règlement (CE) n° 1907/2006 (REACH) de la Commission, les articles ayant un revêtement extérieur en nickel et ceux qui sont insérés dans les oreilles percées et d'autres parties percées du corps humain sont exclus du domaine d'application de la présente norme.
