Le présent document décrit une procédure d'évaluation des performances thermiques des chaudières utilisant de la vapeur ou de l'eau surchauffée. Cette procédure indirecte (déperditions) fournit un moyen approprié d'évaluation des chaudières thermodynamiquement simples, c'est-à-dire ayant une seule source principale d'apport calorifique et un circuit simple pour l'eau, la vapeur ou le fluide caloporteur à température élevée.
