Le présent document spécifie les prescriptions de sécurité pour la conception et la construction des fraiseuses ( comprenant les aléseuses). Il ne s''applique pas aux fraiseuses à changement automatique d''outils qui sont traitées dans la norme NF EN 12417. Il donne les moyens de se conformer aux Directives "Machines" 98/37/CE (voir Annexe ZA) et 2006/42/CE (voir Annexe ZB).
