Il ne traite pas des appareils non raccordés à des conduits ni des caissons de traitement d'air et centrales double-flux destinés à des applications tertiaires. Le présent document vient en complément de la norme européenne NF EN 13141-7 qui traite des essais de performance des centrales doubles flux (y compris la récupération de chaleur) pour les systèmes de ventilation mécaniques prévus pour des logements individuels.
