Il s''applique aux tubes et raccords à parois structurées, destinés à être utilisés enterrés à l''extérieur du bâtiment uniquement ; ce qui est reflété au niveau du marquage des produits par " U " ainsi qu''aux tubes et raccords à parois structurées, destinés à être utilisés enterrés, aussi bien à l''extérieur (code de la zone d''application " U ") qu''à l''intérieur de la structure des bâtiments (code de la zone d''application " D ") ; ce qui est reflété au niveau du marquage des produits par " UD ".
