Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'essai pour déterminer la résistance au feu des conduits horizontaux d'extraction de fumées qui sont utilisés pour des applications relatives à un seul compartiment. Dans de telles applications, le système d'extraction de fumées vise à fonctionner seulement jusqu'à l'embrasement généralisé (600 °C en général). Cette méthode d'essai ne s'applique que : pour des conduits à quatre faces et aux conduits circulaires ; pour des conduits fabriqués avec des matériaux non combustibles (Euroclasse A1 et A2-s1, d0).
