Le présent document caractérise les méthodes d'essai des performances des compresseurs pour fluides frigorigènes. Il permet de déterminer la puissance frigorifique, la puissance absorbée par le compresseur, le débit masse du fluide frigorigène, le rendement isentropique, et le coefficient de performance. Il ne s'applique qu'aux essais de performance réalisés dans l'usine du fabricant ou partout où l'équipement d'essai est disponible avec la précision requise. La deuxième partie de la norme traite des méthodes d'essai des performances des unités de condensation.
