Il est applicable aux chaussées en béton coulé en place. Le béton compacté au rouleau n'est pas couvert par cette norme européenne. Le présent document concerne les chaussées pour routes, autoroutes, aéroports, rues piétonnes, pistes cyclables, zones de stockage et, en général, toutes les structures supportant une circulation.
