Le présent document spécifie une méthode titrimétrique de détermination de l'indice d'iode des esters méthyliques d'acides gras, ci-après appelés EMAG. Les mesures de fidélité de la présente méthode d'essai ont été déterminées lors d'un essai interlaboratoires avec des indices d'iode compris entre 111 g d'iode/100 g et 129 g d'iode/100 g. La méthode d'essai s'applique également à des indices d'iode plus faibles ; cependant, les mesures de fidélité ne sont pas établies pour des indices d'iode inférieurs à 111 g d'iode/100 g.
