Le présent document spécifie une méthode pour déterminer la résistance au poinçonnement d'un géosynthétique. L'essai consiste à mesurer la force nécessaire pour perforer une éprouvette de géosynthétique posée sur un support rigide à l'aide d'un poinçon de forme pyramidale. Par simulation cette méthode permet d'évaluer la capacité d'un géosynthétique à protéger une géomembrane.
