Le présent document aborde cinq points principaux : l'agrément des formateurs en soudage l'agrément des organismes de formation en soudage ; la qualification des soudeurs par aluminothermie ; l'agrément des prestataires de soudage par aluminothermie ; la réception des soudures. La présente partie de la NF EN 14730 résulte d'une directive européenne qui favorise la mise en oeuvre d'un marché européen ouvert. Pour y parvenir, il est nécessaire d'élaborer une norme qui répond aux besoins des propriétaires d'infrastructures ou gestionnaires responsables et qui reflète les capabilités de production des fabricants en termes techniques et de qualité.
