Le présent document décrit une méthode de vieillissement/conditionnement accéléré des bitumes, des liants bitumineux et des émulsions bitumineuses. Ce vieillissement permet de simuler les changements subis par le liant au sein de la chaussée, au cours de son utilisation. Le vieillissement accéléré s'effectue sous une pression d'air définie, à des températures élevées, pendant une durée donnée dans un récipient de vieillissement sous pression (PAV).
