Furniture - Assessment of the surface resistance to abrasion

Le présent document spécifie une méthode d'évaluation de la résistance à l'abrasion des surfaces de type panneaux stratifiés, surfacés, mélaminés ou revêtus de films ainsi que des vernis et laques. Il ne s'applique ni au cuir, ni aux textiles. Il ne s'applique pas aux surfaces traitées dans la NF EN 14434. L'essai est destiné à être réalisé sur une partie des meubles finis, mais il peut être effectué sur des panneaux d'essai du même matériau, de finition identique au meuble fini et de dimensions suffisantes pour satisfaire aux exigences de l'essai. Il doit être réalisé sur des surfaces neuves.
