Bitumen and bituminous binders - Measurement of density and specific gravity - Capillary-stoppered pyknometer method

Le présent document prescrit une procédure pour déterminer la densité et la masse volumique des liants bitumineux à (25,0 + ou - 0,2) °C suivant la méthode du pycnomètre à bouchon capillaire. Cette méthode peut aussi être utilisée pour d'autres liants hydrocarbonés, pour des liants bitumineux d'autres provenances, par exemple ceux obtenus à partir d'enrobés ou après durcissement, et pour des liants contenant des fines. Cependant, une précision plus faible est obtenue avec ces constituants. Les émulsions sont exclues du domaine d'application de cette méthode.
