Le présent document spécifie les exigences de calcul pour la stabilité et la résistance des rayonnages à palettes réglables en acier pour charges statiques. Il définit particulièrement les règles d'analyse, les méthodes d'essais, les caractéristiques de l'acier, en prenant en compte les différentes charges s'exerçant sur le rayonnage. Pour la conception particulière de rayonnages à palettes réglables destinés à une utilisation en zones sismiques, la présente norme doit être utilisée en combinaison avec la NF EN 16681 "Systèmes de rayonnages à tablettes ajustables - Principes pour le calcul parasismique". Il ne couvre pas les autres types génériques de structures de rayonnage.
