Le présent document s'applique aux exigences de sécurité et de performance des systèmes de lutte contre l'incendie et aux méthodes d'essai associées concernant les chambres multiplaces conçues pour des pressions supérieures à la pression atmosphérique. Celles-ci sont employées dans un but thérapeutique dans des installations médicales, et ci-après désignées "chambres". Il a été élaboré afin d'offrir un moyen de se conformer aux exigences essentielles de la Directive Nouvelle Approche 93/42/CEE relative aux dispositifs médicaux.
