Le présent document définit la méthode de mesure en salle réverbérante de l'absorption acoustique d'écrans antibruit plats ou de parements plats pour des murs de soutènement ou des tunnels. Il traite de l'évaluation des performances intrinsèques d'absorption acoustique des dispositifs de réduction du bruit, conçus pour des voies ferrées et qui peuvent raisonnablement être assemblés à l'intérieur du local d'essai décrit dans la NF EN ISO 354. La méthode d'essai de la NF EN ISO 354 à laquelle fait référence le présent document, n'est strictement valable que pour des absorbants plats ; elle exclut notamment les dispositifs qui agissent comme des résonateurs faiblement amortis.
