Le présent document décrit une méthode d'essai pour déterminer les caractéristiques intrinsèques de la réflexion acoustique d'écrans antibruit ou de parements conçus pour les voies ferrées dans des conditions de champ non réverbéré (une mesure de la performance intrinsèque). La méthode d'essai peut être appliquée in situ, c'est-à-dire à l'endroit où les écrans antibruit sont installés. La méthode peut être appliquée sans endommager la surface. La méthode peut être utilisée pour qualifier des produits devant être installés le long des voies ferrées et pour vérifier la conformité des écrans antibruit aux spécifications de conception. La méthode peut être appliquée régulièrement pour vérifier les performances à long terme des écrans antibruit.
