Le présent document précise les spécifications pour la sécurité, la construction et le fonctionnement des systèmes de contrôle d'étanchéité pour robinets automatiques de sectionnement (SCE), et s'applique aux SCE qui sont utilisés pour une détection automatique de fuite sur une partie de la ligne gaz d'un brûleur ayant au moins deux robinets visés par la norme NF EN 161, sauf aux SCE prévus pour être utilisés en atmosphère explosive.
