Le présent document spécifie les exigences de sécurité et les méthodes d'essai relatives aux voitures d'enfant destinées au transport d'un ou plusieurs enfants, pesant jusqu'à 15 kg chacun, et de 20 kg supplémentaires sur toute plate-forme intégrée sur laquelle un enfant peut se tenir debout. Il ne concerne ni les jouets, ni les chariots, ni les porte-enfants munis de roues, ni les voitures d'enfant propulsées par un moteur, ni les voitures destinées aux enfants ayant des besoins spécifiques.
