Le présent document spécifie les exigences en matière de CEM pour les équipements de télécommunication prévus pour une utilisation dans un réseau de télécommunication, fournissant les télécommunications entre les points de terminaison de réseau (NTP) (c’est-à-dire à l’exclusion des équipements terminaux au-delà des NTP). La fonctionnalité radioélectrique (par ex. Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, GPS) incorporée dans les équipements de réseau de télécommunication relève également du domaine d’application du présent document. Voici quelques exemples (liste non exhaustive) de ces équipements : équipements de commutation, équipements de transmission non-hertziens et les équipements auxiliaires, équipements d’alimentation électrique et équipements de supervision.
