Le présent document définit l'interface entre la carte de télécommunications personnelles universelles (UPT) et le dispositif de validation de carte (CAD) pour la phase opérationnelle. Il définit également les aspects de l'organisation interne de l'UPT qui ont trait à la phase opérationnelle. Le présent document porte sur l'interface entre une carte UPT et un terminal du réseau téléphonique public commuté (RTPC), du réseau numérique à intégration de services (RNIS) et du système global pour les communications mobiles (GSM). Ces interfaces sont décrites complètement par l'ETS 300 477, plus les ajouts et modifications que contient le présent document.
