Le présent document est une spécification des couches inférieures et du système de signalisation de couches inférieures pour les variantes de réseau par satellite bidirectionnel définies par l’ETSI TS 101 545-3. Il constitue une spécification complète des couches inférieures pour un réseau par satellite en étoile transparent, un réseau par satellite en superposition de maille transparente et un réseau par satellite en remultiplexage régénératif. Les composants exigés pour un réseau par satellite doté d’un système TRANSEC sont également inclus.
