Il s'applique, d'une part aux équipements du service mobile terrestre fonctionnant aux radiofréquences entre 30 MHz et 3 GHz, avec des espacements entre canaux de 25 kHz, 50 kHz, 100 kHz et 150 kHz, et d'autre part aux équipements d'émission continue et/ou discontinue de données et/ou de parole numérique.
